Nannette Nelson

BS Health Education, Psychology

CPR/AED/First Aid Certified

Juan Carlos Santana Personal Training Certified

Nannette Nelson has a passion for helping people along their personal path to wellness. She brings a rare and comprehensive approach to her work – assisting individuals to realize their wellness depends on all facets of their lives – physical, mental, social, professional, spiritual, and financial.  Nannette has the knowledge, experience and style to help people of all ages and abilities to pursue their wellness goals. She has worked with seasoned athletes as well as people who are new to caring for themselves in a mindful way. She is as effective with groups, large and small, as she is with individuals.

Nannette’s interest in wellness has always been an authentic facet of who she is. Well before graduating cum laud with a degree in Health Promotion and Psychology in 2008, Nannette was leading by example as an early pioneer of organic farming in McCall, Idaho.  Her break from traditional agricultural practices was met with objections from neighboring landowners, but her belief in sustainable agriculture and the power of an all-natural diet and lifestyle helped her persevere. Now, years later, she has received praise from those same landowners about the positive affects her methods had on the reduction of pests and weeds on their land also.

Not content to focus on nutrition alone, Nannette graduated from  Boise State University with a degree that would prepare her to be an effective and knowledgeable advocate for personal wellness. Nannette has always “walked the talk” in her own life, finding time for running, biking, yoga, enjoying arts and cultural activities with family and friends, and pursuing her own goals. She feels very fortunate to live in a community that fosters health at every level.

Nannette lives in Boise, Idaho where she started Vivant Concierge Wellness, her fresh solution for those who want to invest in the health and well being of themselves or their friends and family.

Her conviction that we can all achieve healthy mind, body and spirit is inspiring. Here’s what people who have benefited from her coaching have to say:
With Nannette’s help and guidance I am starting to actually understand how nutrition, exercise and lifestyle all fit together. She helping me put into practice things I may have been told already but nobody took the time to connect the dots for me. Nannette has broken the issues down so that they relate specifically to me – showing me how my life (being a vegetarian/lacking protein), my fitness level and my emotional well being require a different integrated approach than might be true for other. With her help I am feeling better physical and emotionally and making real progress toward my goals.

Nannette Nelson is perhaps the best fitness coach in Idaho. I had virtually no experience running and Nannette outlined a perfect training schedule so that I was prepared to run a half marathon, which I did without the slightest injury of any kind.
                                                                      – Tim- Retired

As her daughter and now as a professional in the health care business, I feel fortunate that I learned from a very early age that health, beauty, and wellness come from the inside out. My mother taught me how to nurture my body and spirit for wellness for life. Healthy eating and exercise for the whole person is natural for me in my adult life because it was the example set for me from an early age. This also influences a balanced approach to health I use in my professional career as a registered nurse.
